For the launch of the Pontiac Vibe, which featured a built in household plug, we used tattoo artist, Kat Von D to drive her Vibe and tattoo some of the hottest celebs in L.A. We filmed a series of videos with Kat tattooing celebs, using her electric tattoo machine, plugging it into the Vibe -even Lady Gaga got some new ink. All the tattoos from the celebs were airbrushed on her Vibe, and a lucky fan won the car.
This campaign was fully integrated with real-time digital video series, a Maxim magazine print campaign, PR on Jimmy Kimmel, direct mail, and broadcast on ABC and VH1.
I was the lead art director and designer for all the digital and print creative. I worked on the set in LA for a week and helped edit and produce the final videos.
